The purpose of this study is to study the arbeit of college students in Cheongju Area. Two hundred-seventy college students in Cheongju area were selected, and the survey was conducted between July and August, 1996. The main results were as follows: 1) Sixty-five percent of respondents were working during the year of 1995, and 58% of respondents wanted working continuously. 2) Tutoring is the most preferred and wanted arbeit type. 3) The most important purpose of arbeit were found to have enough allowance. 4) The attitudes of college students toward arbeit were found to be very positive.
