Analysis of Management Expenditure of Condominiums in Cheongju City

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of management expenditure and the affecting factors to various management expenditure of condominiums. The items of management expenditure during 12 months in the year 1997~1998 in the 33 condominiums were analyzed by frequencies, t-test and ANOVA. 1) The total expenditure was consisted of different items for different condominiums and the same expenditure item has different accounting ways as average cost for M³ or cost per household. 2) The general management expenditure of condominiums in Cheongju city showed lower level and the appropriation for maintenance showed higher level, compared with those of other cities. 3) The construction year was a meaningful variable affecting cleaning expenditure, maintenance expenditure, heating expenditure, and the appropriation for maintenance. 4) The expenditure for hot water varied as what fuel was used, and was affecting the total expenditure in winter season. The heating expenditure showed different levels among condominiums using: the same fuel.
