The productivity of software rises in a modern society, according to the increase of usability of computer system. Also, there are many problems in software design and software production. For example, efficient design, application, production and software. Therefore, this paper explains several methods for efficient software design. In chapter 2, we describe software design methodlogy modular programming, topdown design, structured design, structured analysis design technique, Jackson design method, Warnier design method and automaton design method. And in chapter 3, we explain bow to choose the optimal design technique, according to the comparison of each method. We study the structual factors which are complexity, modularity, scale and structural integrity. As a result, this paper shows optimizing design method in any environment.
