A phase shift analysis based on McIntyre parametrization of S-matrix is presented. It has been applied satisfactorily to the elastic scatterings of ¹??O+²??Si and ¹??O+⁴??Ca systems at E??=503 MeV. An expression of optical potential by inversion has been derived and its calculated results are compared with the ones of optical model analysis.
