Thioltransferase activities are regulated by the glucose or nitrogen limitation. After exchanging the media, the activity of thioltransferase was increased by glucose-limiting media at stationary phase but was lower than that in glucose-deficient media. But activity of thioredoxin is not increased under glucose stavation or nitrogen limitation.
