전이 연구의 쟁점 : 방법론 및 상담 성과를 중심으로

The issues on the empirical transference studies : Focusing on the methodology and counseling outcome

본고에서는 전이에 관한 경험적 연구를 개관한 가운데, 먼저 전이의 측정 도구에 관한 연구를 상담자 평정을 통한 측정과 전이 내용을 중심으로 한 관찰자 평정으로 나누어 소개하고 관련된 논의를 하였다. 그리고 전이 발생에 관한 사회인지 연구 결과 요약하고, 전이 발생 형태에 관한 논란과 관련된 경험적 결과를 살펴보았다. 또한 전이와 상담 성과의 관계를 다룬 연구들을 전이 변화 추이, 해석빈도, 즉시적 성과, 해석의 적절성 등으로 세분하여 정리하고, 통찰과 작업동맹이 전이의 상담성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 끝으로 전이 해석에 대한 상반된 입장을 정리하면서 전이 현상에 관한 경험적 연구의 쟁점을 논의하였다.

The aim of this paper is to review empirical studies on transference. Firstly, the measuring instruments of the transference are divided into the counselor rating forms and observer rating forms, and the methodology of measuring transference is discussed. Secondly, the social cognition studies on transference appearance are summarized, and the empirical issues and results on the pattern of transference appearance are reviewed. Thirdly, the topics on the relationship between transference and counseling outcome are analyze into transference transition, frequency of interpretation, immediate outcome, and adequacy of interpretation. And, in this regard. the mediative effect of the working alliance on counseling outcome is reviewed. Finally, the controversial view points of transference interpretation are introduced and the issues on the empirical transference studies are discussed.
