대상관계 수준 척도의 타당화 연구

A Validational Study of Quality of Object Relations Scale

본 연구는 개인의 대상관계 수준을 측정하기 위한 면접도구인 대상관계 수준 척도(QORS)를 타당화하기 위한 것이다. 먼저 신뢰도를 검증하기 위해 12회에 걸치 평정 훈련을 거쳐 7명의 평정자가 9명의 피험자를 대상으로 대상관계 수준 평정을 하였고, .84의 일치도를 얻었다. 또한 다른 대상관계 측정 도구와의 공존타당도를 확인해보기 위해서 59명의 피험자를 대상으로 대상관계 수준 면접과 로샤, 자아기능-대상관계질문지 등을 실시하였다. 로샤 반응을 분석하기 위해서는 상호자율성 척도(MOA)와 Blett의 대상개념 척도가 사용되었다. 이 두 척도 점수와 질문지 점수는 QORS 점수와 대부분 유의미한 상관을 보여 QORS의 타당도를 지지하였다. 또한 정신병 집단, 신경증 집단, 정상 집단 각 13명씩 39명을 대상으로 세 진단 집단 간의 대상관계 수준을 비교하였다. 이는 대상관계 이론 에서 병리의 심각성과 낮은 수준의 대상관계를 연결 짓는 이론적 공식화를 검증하고자 한 것으로, 세 집단 간에 모두 유의미하게 차이가 있었다. 이상과 같은 결과는 대상관계 수준 척도가 개인의 대상관계 수준을 측정하는데 유용함을 나타내는 것으로 보여진다.

The present study describes the validation of the Quality of Object Relations Scale(QORS). At first, 7 raters who were trained through 12 training sessions rated the quality of object relations of 9 subjects and reached the generalizability coefficient of .84. Furthermore, in order to confirm the concurrent validity with other object relations measures, quality of object relations interview, the Rorschach, and Ego Function-Object Relations<EF-OR> Questionnaire were conducted on 59 subjects composed of a psychotic group, a neurotic group, and a normal group, The Mutuality of Autonomy(MOA) scale and Blatt's Developmental Analysis of Concept of Object based on the Rorschach and EF -OR questionnaire were used to examine concurrent validity of QORS. The scores obtained from the three measures generally showed significant correlations with QORS, hence confirming its validity. Lastly, the qualities of object relations of the three diagnostic groups were compared. This was conducted in order to confirm the theoretical formulation concerning the connection between the severity of pathology and the low level of quality of object relations. As the result, the differences between the three groups were all found to be significant, thereby confirming the QORS to be a valid instrument.
