Besed on the strategic choice model, I have stressed the importance of developing the multi-skilled work forces for growth of national competitiveness. In the increased level of competition which firms are experiencing in every market, it is well known that economic growth will be maintained at present rates only if grater value added activity is generated. This implies the successful emergence of a new generation of technologically complex and desirable products together with a well trained multi-skilled efficient labor force to produce them. In this context I have reviewed current national vocational training system and proposed some strategic implications for the actors including government, organizations, and employees to develop the multi-skilled labor forces.
