NPO리더의 과업에 따른 역할유형에 관한 연구

A Study on the Task-related Role Types of NPO Leaders

현대사회에서 거버넌스의 한 축으로서의 비영리영역이 차지하는 비중과 역할이 증대되고 있다 본 논문은 비영리영역의 리더십에 대한 체계적 연구가 미약한 상황에서 NPO를 둘러싸고 있는 환경과 이해관계자들을 중심으로 NPO 리더의 과업과 역할의 유형화를 시도하였다 NPO가 처해 있는 환경에 따라 시간적 차원에서는 현실과 미래, 공간적 차원에서는 조직 내부와 외부 차원으로 구분하여 각 차원에서 요구되는 리더십의 유형과역할을 살펴보았다 나아가 NPO 리더들에게 요구되는 자질을 살펴보면서 현실적 상황에서 바람직한 비영리 리더십을 제시하였다

Researches on the role and type of NPO leaders are not many even if roles of NPOs in modern society have been rapidly activated In this regard, it seems to be worthwhile to try to search for role types of NPO leaders in relations with their main tasks. Paying attention to inherent characteristics of NPOs, this paper attempts to single out distinctive role types of NPO leaders from the following four perspectives with two dimensions. first, time present situation and future direction, and secondly, space: inside and outside of an organization. It emphasizes that different leadership type should be provided with different organizational situation In addition, major traits NPO leaders should possess are briefly discussed. In conclusion, successful NPO leaders could change their leadership role type according to the situation of their organization.
