As electronic trade is rapidly diffusing throughout the world, electronic trade settlement systems such as Bolero, TradeCard, Identrus, SWIFTNet are introduced by many corporation, organizations, and the community. However, some problems are coming up in the course of using the electronic trade settlement systems asd following : high costs, networking issues etc. So, the MP&T as Payment Gateway (hereinafter referred to PG) was suggested as a solution for these problems. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to examine the problems related to the PG via the case of MP&T and to propose the activation plan.
