This paper attempts to explain the geographical considerations for evolutional process of Christ in Ho Nam province in 1893-1940. Ho Nam province is located in the southwest of Korea, where mission stations functioned as cultural center as well the centers of Christian evangelism. With their chapels, homes, dormitories, schools, dispensaries or hospitals, gardens, utility building, roads mission stations stood in stark contrast with immediate surroundings. They were outstanding among the cultural landscape of each town. mission stations have also played an important role as a center of Christian transmission. Chunju, Kunsan, Mokpo, Kwanju and Suncheon had mission stations. Mission stations were formed in two ways. they were established either by missionaries(Chunju, Kunsan, Mokpo, Kwanju) or by Korean Christians(Suncheon). Kunsan, Mokpo, Suncheon were seaports and bases of advancing into inner cities and towns. Chunju, Kwanju became the core of interior regions. The transmission process was first made from Chunju, to Kunsan, a port in the southwest coast, then to Naju, the central point of Youngsan river basin; then from Naju to Mokpo and surrounding islands. Later the geographical transmission from Mokpo reached Kwanju, center of Ho Nam Province, and from there to regions along the Sumjin river basin and villages along the southeastern coast. periodical markets and social networks such as friends and relatives helped these transmissions. Distance influences spread pattern in several ways. spread may require direct physical contact between a carrier and a receiver. The spread of a type of Christian falls into this category. Simillary a type of spread patterns reflect the exchange of information by word of mouth, which tend to spread contagious diffusion from a point of origin. the spread pattern is c composite of a "spreading out" in space. Patterns of spatial diffusion are not simply a response to the friction of distance and it is convenient to distinguish between the influence of psychological barriers and other barriers. The former exist in the minds of the potential adopters of Christian. whereas the latter exist the minds of the adopters of non-Christian. ideas such as Confucianims play non spatial barriers, which is prevented from the spread of Christian in Ho Nam province. In Ho Nam province, The spread of Christian is first relocation diffusion, and then expansion diffusion.
