Su-Kwang Lee's representative book was published as "Chibongyuseol(芝峯類說)" in 1634 by his two sons. In second chapter of this book, many nations with European ones were written by Lee. This was the first time to appear European countries in the book of Korea. Lee was dispatched three times to Peking as an envoy. At that time, he had a time to meet the western Fathers and envoys of south-east asia countries in Peking. So his geographical view of the world enlarged from the view of Chinese centered world to five continental view of the world. Su-Kwang Lee(李??光) also introduced Father Matteo Ricci's world map which was printed on papers with engraved six blocks of wood. Ricci considered that China might be seen in the center of the world. At that time most Korean intellectuals were influenced much by Lee's book, so their much by traditional geographical view of the world extended as a new view of five continental world.
