The method of korean language cultural education through T.V Drama

The task of this essay is seek to Korean language culture education method in base of T.V. Drama. The cultural approach is very important to korean education as foreign language education. Especially, Korean language culture education is designed to integrate to both social language competence and korean culture literacy. The former is sought to develop communicate ability by means of analysis of convention of speech genre in social cultural context. The other is sought to understand korean culture by means of drama narrative. T.V Drama is very important material to educate Korean language culture. It is authentic material to support 'real' conversation. Also, it is very important to emphasize to Learner based Program. According to this view, following learning procedure is possible. ① Discriminate Korean language culture ② Explicit explanation of teacher ③ Collecting of language material in various context. ④ Comparate with one's own country ⑤ Creative application of cultural production ⑥ Appreciation
