직업재활전문가와 고용주의 장애인고용 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인

장애인고용에 있어서 고용결정권자인 고용주가 직업재활과정에 참여하는 직업재활전문가들의 인식은 무엇보다 중요한 요인일 것이다. 따라서, 고용주들과 직업재활전문가들의 장애인고용에 대한 인식 수준 차이를 알아보고, 장애인고용에 영향을 미치는 변인들과의 관계를 알아보는 것은 직업재활서비스를 제공함에 있어서 중요한 사항이다. 본 연구는 고용주 92명과 직업재활전문가 105명을 대상으로 장애인고용에 관한 인식을 직업기술 및 훈련 요인, 법률적인 요인, 경제적인 요인, 지원 및 훈련 요인외 4요인으로 나누어 각 요인별 인식수준의 차이를 밝히고, 장애인고용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 따른 고용주와 직업재활전문가들의 인식수준을 비교하였다. 경제적인 요인과 법률에 관한 이해도를 제외하고는 두 집단 간의 인식은 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 지원 및 훈련 요인과 법률에 관한 이해도는 직업재활전문가의 인식이 높았고, 나머지 요인은 고용주의 인식이 높게 나타났다. 본연구는 구직 장애인들의 성공적인 직업생활에 도움을 주고 직업재활전문가들이 직업재치서비스를 효율적으로 제공하는데 기여할 것이다. 끝으로 연구의 제한점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 밝히고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the perceptions of vocational rehabilitation practitioners and employers on the employment of people with disabilities. Out of the 195 survey questionnaires sent to vocational rehabilitation practitioners, 105 were returned. Out of the 800 survey sheets sent employers, 92 were returned. The conclusions drawn from the results and discussion were as follows. First, there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of perception between vocational rehabilitation practitioners and employers with regard to work skills and attitudes, law, and support and training factors in hiring persons with disabilities. But there were statistically significant differences in the levels of perception when it came to familiarity of law factors and economic factors. Second, there were statistically significant in the levels of support and training factors with regard to types of rehabilitation agencies and qualifications. Third, there were statistically significant in the levels of work skills and attitudes and total perception with regard to the number of contact on the organizations. And, there were statistically significant in the levels of economic factors and support and training factors when it answered in the affirm experience of person with disabilities. These findings present service providers with information that would facilitate successful employment of individuals with disabilities. However, more in-depth, quality studies for employers hiring persons with disabilities need to be conducted in the future to future investigate the relationship among factors dealt in this study. Furthermore, in terms of policy, central and local governments should make every effort to ensure that employers become familiar with laws related to the employment of people with disabilities. Authorities should also ensure administrative and financial assistance, as well as frequent contacts with rehabilitation agencies through public information by means of the mass media.
