A Study on the Environmental Management Strategy for SMEs in Manufacturing Sectors

The new environmental management standards such as ISO 14000 are fast becoming a condition for doing global business because it can be acted with trade barriers. Therefore, Korean SMEs should adopt and practise the environmental management strategy not for the enhancement of corporate image but for the purpose of strategic competitive advantage. The purpose of this study is to present the efficient implementation alternatives of environmental management strategy for SMEs in Manufacturing Sectors The results of this study will be helpful to establish the environmental management strategy for SMEs and the policy of environmental management for government.
