A Study on the Critical Reflection of e-Government

Influenced by the rapid development of information technology(IT), informatization has been fast advancing in the world. Informatization not only accelerates structural changes ranging from society to public administration as a whole, but also has significant impacts upon government activities as well as civil servants. Initiated by the governments, the major countries in the world have already made efforts to prepare for the plans to meet change of the informatization. The administration which had played the driving role of national informatization in Korea has been no doubt changing in the 1990s. But compared with that in the arguement and research, it is also true that its influence has not been practical This study explored the critical review on current status and prospects of Electronics Government and suggested implication for the purpose of realizing the Electronics Government. In order to implement the functions and roles in more fiercely forthcoming competition, the administration's effort should be made from the beginning for solving various problems which newly arises in the course a of Electronics Government
