The 19 domestic life insurers are evaluated in depth and ranked according to the quality of their whole life insurance products. The whole life insurance products are evaluated in terms of price and coverage, quality of customer service, and financial soundness of insurers. This sort of analysis of comparing insurance products and publication of the analysis outcomes would be of good help in promoting customers' right-to-know and productive competition among insurers for successful development of insurance business in Korea. Taking ever-increasing competition in insurance market and growing consumerism into account, insurers as well as insurance buyers have to accept this kind of changes in the market and react positively for their successful business and optimal consumption in the insurance market.
