A Study on the Main Contents of Revision in the UCP 500

The purpose of this article is to study on the main contents of revision in the "Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits-1993 Revision". As a rusult of the changes that have developed over the last ten years, the International Chamber of Commerce's Commission on Banking Technique and Practice authorised, at its meeting of November 1989, a Revision of ICC Publication No. 400-"Unifrom Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits-1983 Revision". The new Rules, the UCP 500, were approved by the Banking Commission on March 10, 1993, and become effective on January 1, 1994, as "Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits-1993 Revision".
