장애아동과의 통합여부에 따른 일반아동의 놀이규칙 수정 정도와 형태에 관한 연구

An analysis of the impact of inclusion of children with disabilities into play activities on adaptation of play rules by children without disabilities

본 연구는 장애아동과의 통합여부에 따라 일반아동이 수정한 놀이활동 규칙이 어떠한 차이가 있는지 분석하였다. ‘통합 놀이수정 프로그램’의 실행과정에서 수집된 문서자료를 통하여 수정된 규칙의 정도와 형태를 분석하였다. 규칙의 정도를 비교하기 위하여 먼저 규칙 수정 방법을 새로운 규칙 첨가, 놀이진행 및 승패와 관련된 규칙 수정, 놀이집단 구성과 관련된 규칙 수정, 놀잇감 수정, 놀이환경 수정, 역할 수정으로 구분한 다음, 6가지 규칙 수정 방법에 따라 수정된 규칙의 개수를 집단간 비교하였다. 그 결과 집단간 차이가 나타난 방법은 2가지로, 역할수정은 통합집단이 비통합집단에 비해 많이 일어났으며, 새로운 규칙의 첨가는 비통합집단에서 더 많이 이루어졌다. 놀이수정의 형태를 분석한 결과 5가지 주제가 도출되었다：1) 윈-윈(WIN-WIN); 2) 절대 봐주기 없음; 3) 따로 또 같이; 4) 점점 더 어렵게; 5) 통합놀이활동의 충분조건. 각 주제에 대한 논의와 후속연구를 위한 제언이 제시되었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of inclusion of children with disabilities on adaptation of play rules by children without disabilities. Content analysis was conducted using the documents collected during the implementation of the “inclusive play adaptation program.” The data were analyzed by the t-test. The results showed that the frequency of adapted rules, “adaptation of participative role” was higher in the inclusive group than the noninclusive group. On the other hand, “addition of new rules” appeared more frequently in the noninclusive group than the inclusive group. Findings emerged from the analysis were organized into five themes：1) win-win strategy：rules for “all” members, 2) never let go children with disabilities：beginning of membership acquisition, 3) individual and together：flexible application of rules, 4) more and more challenging way：progress of difficulty level of skills, 5) “sufficient condition” of inclusive play activities; individual pursuit of fun. Finally, discussion of the findings and suggestions for future research were presented.
