포르노그라피(pornography): 여성성(sexuality)에 대한 남성지배의 상징인가 아니면 여성지배의 기회인가

This study attempts to compare and analyse the pros and cons of pornography centering around the cases of the West and Korea from the feminist view. As a result, there are two problems in the cases of the West. Frist, those for pornography reflect the male-dominant view that both men and women get the same sexual satisfaction through it. Second, those against it tend to see women as victims, so their arguments exclude male victims. In Korea, a small number of intellectuals lead initially the argument of pornography on the cyber space. The problem is that they accept uncritically the Western views. Our traditional sexual discourses differ from those of the West now. Therefore, we need to reconsider the arguments of pornography in the direction of reflecting women's experience and deconstructing the double standard of sexuality.
