The Implementation of the Shipping Request XML/EDI System on B2B

The importance of the EDI system has been so emphasized that we need to exchange and maintain the electronic documents effectively and convert them to other formats. However, the traditional EDI system is facing on the limitation of growth because of it's high expense and the closeness of sharing information. The EDI system of next generation, such as the open EDI system, object-oriented EDI system, and Internet EDI system, have appeared to solve these problems. Finally, XML/EDI system, which is very effective to solve these kinds of problems, is now replacing the traditional EDI system and the HTML in Internet and is influencing on the e-Business applications. So, we suggest a solution which uses XML/EDI as a substitute for the traditional one. At first, we analyze the problems of the traditional EDI system and organize the structure of XML/EDI system. At next, we design and implement the XML/EDI system of the shipping request on B2B to show the effectiveness and strength of XML/EDI system over the traditional EDI system.
