The Role of MIS in the New Economy Age

The digital technology enables organizations to enhance its productivity and to provide new strategic chance in the New Economy age. Though they want thus to staff advanced man-power of IT, many companies fail to staff new graduates who satisfy their needs. There is, that is, a great gap between the knowledge and skills of graduates and those that are needed in industries. In our study, the knowledge and skills that industries really need are surveyed and briefly summarized. And then we show how to develop new educational methodology and structure new curriculum.
