Analysis of Power-Saving Protocols for Ad Hoc Networks

이동 Ad Hoc 네트워크는 기반 네트워크가 존재하진 않거나이의 설치가 용이하지 않은 지역에서, 혹은 필요에 따라 고정된 기반 네트워크와는 독립적으로 이동단말들이 자율적이고 임시적으로 구성하는 네트워킹 기술을 말한다. 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous)컴퓨팅 네트워크는 소형화, 경량화 특히 이동가능한 형태로 진보되고 있다. 지금까지의 MANET은 어떻게 하면 좀더 효율적인 라우팅을 할 것인가에 초점을 맞추어 연구가 이루어졌다. 특히 최근에 MANET에서 중용한 문제로 부각되고 있는것이 power saving 문제이다.따라서 본 논문에서는 다중 홉 Ad Hoc망에서 power saving프로토콜을 비교분석하여 제안된 프로토콜의 효율성을 제시하고자 한다.

Mobil Ad Hoc Network is a kind of network technology, that obile hosts can compose networks freely and temporarily where the base networks don't exist and where its establishment is difficult or as occasion demands.Ubiquitous computer network is prograssing in the forms of miniaturization, but its power saving problems are been issuing nowadays.We try to not only compare and analyze power saving problems in multi-hop Ad Hoc network but also present their efficiencies in this thesis.
