Performance Evaluation of Reed-Muler Encoded OFDM Communication Systems

In this paper, we analyze the hard-decision and soft-decision decoding algorithms for the first order Reed-Muller code, denoted RM_q(1,m), and the generalized second order code RM_q(2,m).By simuating these decoding algorithms for OFDM codes in the AWGN channel, a comparison of error correncting capability of the coded OFDM with that of the uncoded OFDM communication systems is made.
