A Study on Driving Characteristics of SRM using Stator Two Divided Method

In this paper, a SRM using stator two divided method forms has a flux path loop between a stator and a rotor along the main shaft. And this method will be reducing the iron loss of the rotor. It also has special quality that can prevent temperature rise of the rotor so it can applyed to a machine tool because it has a strong torque at a low speed. And it also shows approximately the driving principle of stator two divided methods and driving characteristics of speed and torque.
