Instrument and PC for Interface Application

Current instrument system is used in various forms in all industry field. It also trends toward highly precise and intellectual state. A series of attempts are also under way in order to control in- & out-put among instrument systems and to visualize the results. In this paper, the control of the instrument systems and interface between the systems and Pes are presented and a variety of applications are instructed. Especially, based on National Instrument Co.'s NI-488.2 GPIB which satisfies IEEE488.2 standard, basic concept on GPIB, it's working principle, and applications are shown. It is expected that the interfaces between computers and instrument equipment will be widely used in our all industrial field(electric, electronic, communication, machinery, construction, civil, and nano, etc...).
