A Web-based Statistical Software for Sampling Inspection Plans

This study is about developing a software on sampling inspection tables for statistical quality control on the web. Existing sampling inspection tables didn't design accurate inspection plans because they allow an error for convenient use. And they were difficult to calculate the sample size, acceptable sample number, Operating Characteristics curve, Average Outgoing Quality curve, Average Sample Number and parameters for sequential sampling inspection plans. To calculate them, they need to spent many time, effort and cost. Therefore, we have developed a software designing accurate inspection plans and rapidly displaying data such as the sample size, acceptable sample number, OC curve, AOQ curve, ASN and parameters based on the statistical theory, revised korean industrial standard. This software uses Microsoft Visual basic 6.0 with Active-X and Web. it is easily available to internet accessible under the Windows environment.
