화상 카메라를 이용한 원격 학습용 RET 모듈 개발

본 논문은 웹 기반의 원격교육에서 교사와 학생, 학생과 학생의 상호작용을 높여 학습 효과를 신장시키기 위한 방안으로, 화상교육용 원격 학습 모듈을 구현 및 개발하였다 RET 모듈은 일반적인 웹 페이지에서 많이 사용하는 게시판에 화상 자료를 쉽게 제작할 수 있는 기능을 포함시킨 화상 게시판 형태로 구성된다. RET 모듈의 게시판 글 작성 화면에서 화상 자료를 AVI 로 쉽게 제작할 수 있는 기능을 가지고 있다 또한 리스트 보기, 내용 보기, 답변 글쓰기 , 동영상 보기 퉁으로 구성되어 있다 RET 모듈은 서버와 클라이언트 모둘 기능요로 구성되어 있다 , 클라이언트 모듈은 개인용 PC 와 화상 카메라를 이용 하여 가정에서 공부하다가 질문이나 답변 및 각종 수엽 자료 등을 화상 자료 형식으로 쉽게 제작할 수 있도록 한다. 서버 모듈은 사용자가 처음 접속할 때 ActiveX 컨트롤에 의 해 화상 카메라 제어용 프로그램이 자동 등록되게 하여 쉽게 화상 모듈기능을 사용할 수 있도록 한다. RET 모듈에 대해서 학생들을 대상으로 실험을 수행했다.

The remote education is getting important in the self-directed learning. Even if the remote education has many kinds of advantages, learning effect tends to decrease because the remote education is not a face to face method and lacks interaction between teachers and students, students and students. This paper realized that the web-based remote education tool using video data increases interaction between teachers and students, or students and students and makes good learning effects. PC and Digital PC Camera are used in client system. Students don't need install special program because the program to control Digital PC Camera is automatically installed m client by ActiveX Control when the server is connected first.
