This paper tries to show how to teach gender concept in English to the students who are unfamiliar with cultures of target language by providing specific linguistic data. Gender-appropriate styles of communicative interaction further mark the separation of women and men. Words and expressions in a language itself may reflect gender differences in how they symbolize males and females. In the United States and other English-speaking societies, women and men behave differently in several communicative domains. Women tend to use sounds that marked as standard, correct, and prestigeful. Their choice of words and grammatical constructions can be characterized as polite or deferential. Throughout this paper we have pointed out the necessity of gender education in teaching English classes. Teaching a foreign language includes educating linguistic characteristics and cultural aspect as well. So far it seems to have neglected grammatical differences of gender in English. In order to overcome this reality, teachers of foreign language education field should be more interested in gender and language by teaching gender differences of language usage to their hopeful students from now on.
