The purpose of this study was on the subject of the children with cochlear implants and to investigate the effect of language treatment program through social drama role play with script activity on language improvement of the child. The subjects were the two children with cochlear implants who had no problem in emotional, behavioral, cognitive and visual parts except for normal language development retard. The program was executed respectively to the two children of A and B in three steps of baseline, treatment and maintenance each session of forty minutes. three times a week. The subjects of social drama role play were decided into traffic play, hospital play and department store play among plays familiar to the normal child and the procedures of the treatment program were three steps of listening to stories, dramatization and arrangement. The results of this study were as follows; First, it was showed that language treatment program through social drama role play with script activity was all effective on the improvement of expressive vocabulary ability for the children with cochlear implants after the application. Second, it was showed that language treatment program through social drama role play with script activity was all effective on the improvement of spontaneous utterance of objective letters for the children with cochlear implants after the application. Third, it was showed that language treatment program through social drama role play with script activity was all effective on the improvement of generalization of acceptive language and expressive language for the children with cochlear implants after the application. As a result of this study, language treatment program through social drama role play with script activity was greatly effective on the language improvement of the children with cochlear implants.
