There are areas of international trade which are in constant change. This change occurs as a result of new practices introduced by bankers, commercial parties, transport companies. Current UCP 500 stipulate the acceptance requirements of seven kinds of transport documents - marine/ocean bill of lading, non-negotiable sea waybill, charter party bill of lading, multimodal transport document, air transport document, road, rail or inland waterway transport documents. courier and post receipts. Sea waybill as well as bill of lading has been widely used in the international commercial transactions. But there have been many misunderstandings in interpreting the acceptance requirements of sea waybill. Therefore, this study will help to solve the problems in interpreting of sea waybill.
