This study aims to introduce some ways of teaching culture to English teachers of Korean secondary schools. The study starts from the analytic survey of the problem that culture is least touched on by most English teachers whereas they approve of its importance in English teaching. The study proceeds to give some straight tip on the ways of teaching culture to English teachers on the assumption that most English teachers are practically at a loss what to do with culture. The study goes on to endeavor to present an experimental material based on cultural syllabus prospectively applicable to culture teaching in English class. It was applied to ninety in-service teacher-trainees in 2003 Summer Session. What could be concluded by the response from the teacher-trainees is as follows. Firstly, most English teachers have been thirsty for the particular practical ways of teaching culture in their English class. Hence the need to develop more particular practical ways of teaching culture was presented. Secondly, they unexpectedly welcomed the experimental material based on cultural syllabus, which is the proof that English teaching materials based on cultural syllabus could be prospective in every sense of the word.
