This study examines behavioral characteristics of juvenile recidivists and future possibility of recidivism. The sample of research consists of juvenile offenders in juvenile protection facilities and juvenile prison which are located in Seoul, Busan, Gwangju, Cheonan. According to the result of data analysis, about 62.9 percents of juvenile recidivists had committed property crime in first offense stage, about 55.3 percents in second offence and about 50.7 percents in final offence. In violent crime, about 28.0 percents of juvenile recidivists had committed the crime in first offence stage, about 32.7 percents in second offence and about 34.8 percents in final offence. About 37.7 percents of juvenile recidivists had shows the tendency of specialization of criminal career in property crime or violent crime. About 49.0% percents of juvenile recidivists had committed another crimes within 1 year period after their release. The result from the regressions to the future recidivism possibility with independent factors shows that delinquent friends, delinquent learning in facility, perceived label and self-concept in morality have a significant effect on the future possibility of theft. Delinquent learning in facility, attitude toward law and society, perceived label, self-concept in morality and self-concept as criminal have significant effect on the possibility of robbery. Relationship with father, discipline of father, shift in status by delinquent behavior, experience in juvenile facility, and attitude toward law and society have significant effect on the possibility of sexual assault.
