Even though the works of Hong. Man-jong are distinguished by systematization, criticism and good evidence. there are some incorrections in Sohwasipyeong, one of the works in relation to criticising other people's poems. The 95th paragraph in Sohwasipyeong contains a poem by moralist Lee, YuI-gok, which was given to a kisaeng. I utilize both 「Yujisasicheop」by Lee, YuI-gok and 「Yujisabal」 by Lee. Hee-jo, in order to investigate whether the 95th paragraph is true or wrong. On the basis of this work, I find out there are three types of problems such as unclearness, questionableness and mistakes and do correct these. The findings are summarized as follow: First. regarding the unclearness, I find out that the name of 'gisaeng(geisha)' is Yu-Ji. Second, concerning the questionableness, I guess that the poem of the 95th paragraph is written by Lee. Yul-gok himself. On the other hand. this kind of poem is omitted in Yulgokjeonseo in that he is a high-level moralist. Third, I discuss that the first time for Lee. Yul-gok to meet Yu-ji is not 1582 when he is dispatched to 'wonjeopsa', but 1574 or at least January 1575 when he was a 'gwanchalsa(provincial governor)' in Hwanghae province. I also investigate Lee, Yul -gok had a relationship with Yu - ji for eight years between January 1575 and September 1583, not just one month. In addition. Yu-ji was introduced to Lee. Yul-gok by not Choi Rip but a governor in Hwangju region. For these reasons. it seems that Hong Man-jong adopted and utilized wrong research materials. or he intentionally changed contents of Yulgokjeonseo in order to strongly reveal high standard nature as a moralist.
