順庵 安鼎福 文學의 一考察: '詩'와 '傳'을 중심으로

Study on Literatures of Soon-am An. Jeong-bok: Focused on his Poetry and Prose

Joseon Dynasty in the 18th century was in the turmoil. The central idea in that period was realism. Soon-am An, Jeong-bok, had written many kinds of history books as a realist. Also, He wrote lots of literary works. This paper was written to study his literary world by analyzing An's poetry and prose. Followings are results of analysis. First, Soon -am left some more historical and philosophical works than literary works. Second, although there are various works in his collection, the works have not been studied and not arranged yet. Third, as a property of his poetry, we can perceive that his main theme was academic pursuit, patriotism and vanity of life. Fourth, he chose very unique subject like a woman's cosmetics in his prose. Fifth, his works are focused on the realistic expression.
