A Study on the teaching Method of Vocabulary for Expression

The purpose of this study is to suggest an efficient teaching method for vocabulary expression. Concrete instructional contents for the application of the principle of paragraph development were developed here. And its method of application to elementary school and university were also described. The aim of this study is three. The first is the reinforcement of vocabulary for expression. The second is the improvement of both quantity and quality in vocabulary expression. The third is the enhancement of the vocabulary expression and the presentation of concrete and various teaching plan. In order to achieve these aims, the units of writing are set up by paragraph at first. In addition to this, various vocabularies of relevant theme are turned into various sentences for the expansion of vocabulary expression by applying the principle of paragraph development such as coherence, cohesion and emphasis. The concrete project for the improvement of vocabulary expression is divided into the use of vocabulary variation and the use of sentence variation. The use of vocabulary variation is subdivided into the use of vocabulary finding, semantic relating and vocabulary selecting. The use of sentence variation is subdivided into the use of sentence connection and the comprehension of sentence structure changing. Each of detailed methods is described as following order: principle, application, effect, discussion and attention to the application for the practical use of this study.
