This treatise is attempted tu discuss about the aspects of fact and fiction in Mangwoodong-tales. I epitomize tre subject matter which is discussed in the upper parts as following. First, the aspects of fact and fiction is divided as following, 1) hand down orally as facts, 2) fabricated one by amplification, 3) fabricated one by exaggeration, 4) fabricated one by distortion. Second, as the consciosness of transmitters, 1) in hand down orally as facts, it shows transmission-consciousness as what is showed by the documentary-writers. 2) in fabricated one by amplification, it shows transmission-consciousness which is connected popular interests. 3) in fabricated one by exaggeration, it shows transmission-consciousness as a concern and anticipation of a genious's arrival. 4) fabricated one by distortion, it shows the people's view of life which deny a allmighty human's existence and the people's view of nature which value much of the shape of the earth.
