The Study on the Ethic in Kim, Woo-Chang's Poetry Criticism

The aim of this paper is to study the ethics in Kim, Woo-Chang' criticism. He wants to combine the an aesthetic sense with ethical value. In precious study, the aesthetic element in his criticism is only treated. So the present writer would like to investigate the ethical characteristic in his criticism. Because the poetry is held in high repute by him, I will inspect closely practical criticism. For example, his criticism on Han, Yong-Un, Yun, Dong- ]u, and Kim, Hyun-Sung is based on the ethical imagination. Especially, he divided the ethical thing into individual ethics and social ethics. He harmonizes with this ethics. Finally his 'aesthetic reason' is to aim to ethical value. In brief, he refuses the absolute aestheticism and admits the ethical imagination.
