미술영재들의 특성에 대한 연구-미술가와 미술영재아의 사례 연구를 중심으로-

A study on characteristics of artistically talented students

미술영재들의 특성에 대한 규명은 미술영재를 발굴하기 위한 판단 기준을 정하고 판단 도구를 개발하는데 가장 기초적인 자료가 된다. 따라서 본 연구는 미술 영재성 판별 도구의 개발과 교육 프로그램의 개발을 위해 필요한 기초 자료인 미술 영재들의 특성을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 미술가들이 아동기와 청소년기에 보여준 행동 특성과 제작한 작품의 특성들을 중심으로, 미술영재 가능성이 높은 학생들의 행동 관찰 자료와 학생, 지도 교사, 부모와의 인터뷰 자료를 기초로 미술영재들의 특성을 세 가지 범주로 분류하여 제시하고 있다. 첫째, 미술영재아들의 일반적인 행동특성, 툴째, 미술영재아들의 작품에 나타나는 특성, 셋째, 미술영재아들의 미술적인 행동 특성 등으로 분류하여 미술영재들의 특성을 제시하였다. 주요어 : 영재교육, 미술영재교육, 미술영재의 특성, 미술가들의 영재성, 미술영재들의 일반적인 행동특성, 미술영재들의 작품에 나타나는 특성, 미술영재들의 행동 특성

This research paper presented characteristics of artistically talented students. The main resources of this paper are artist biography and observable behaviors of superior abilities students and interviews with students and with their parents and teachers. The outline characteristics of artistically talented students is divided into three categories: first, observable characteristics of generalized behaviors, second, characteristics of art products, third, observable behaviors in process of making art and criticizing art. The goal of this paper is to find out the characteristics of students who are talented in the visual arts because that is very important for developing of educational program for artistically talented students. This Paper suggest the developing process for education of artistically talented students. First step is the research of characteristics of artistically talented students. Second step is to design tests for identifying artistically talented student. Third step is development of program for teacher who teach the artistically talented students and development of program for student. And last step is to practice the education for artistically talented students.
