한·미·일 중학교 미술교과서의 디자인 관련 내용 비교 분석

Comparative Analysis of Middle School Art Textbooks in Term of Design Education in Korea, Japan, and America

중학교 미술교육에서 이루어지는 디자인 교육에 대한 시사점을 얻기 위해, 한국, 미국, 일본의 대표적인 교과서를 선정하여 비교 분석하였다. 시각을 기본으로 하는 미술과의 특성상 교과서의 외형 및 체제와 함께, 디자인 관련 단원을 선정하여 학습 내용, 참고 도판, 조형요소, 표현재료를 중심으로 차이점과 공통점을 상호 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과, 한국 미술 교과서의 디자인 수준을 올리기 위해서는 공급제도를 비롯한 다각적인 검토가 필요하며, 디자인 관련내용의 논리적 배열의 미흡함을 보완할 필요가 있었다. 또한 디자인의 요소와 원리를 기본으로 조형 세계의 이해를 위한 기초를 구성할 필요가 있다. 아울러 디자인 영역에 새롭게 수용되는 동영상에 대한 접근도 사진적 시각을 기본으로 재검토되어야 할 것이라고 본다. 주제어 : 디자인 교육, 미술 교과서, 한국·미국·일본, 교과서 비교

Trying to get better ways to improve Art textbooks in Korea, I chose Korean, Japanese, American Art textbooks and compared them by analyzing not only their cover pages, system, and layout but also contents, picture reference books, elements and principle of design, materials that are all shown on Design chapters. As a result, to promote the standard of design of the Korean textbooks, I would like to make some suggestions as followed. 1. We should examine whole supply systems. 2. We should make up the lack of logical layout. 3. We should construct basic knowledge of fine art based on principles and elements of design. 4. We should reconsider approaches to motion picture which becomes great role in design with camera eye.
