미술영재교육 실태조사 연구-미술 영재학급 운영사례를 중심으로-

A Study on the Fact Finding Survey of the Education for the Gifted Children in Arts-Centered on the Operational Cases of Classes of the Gifted Children-

미술 영재교육은 미술 분야에서 특수한 재능을 보이는 영재의 선천적인 잠재력을 단기간에 이끌어내어 개인적 자아실현은 물론 21세기가 요구하는 능동적이고 생산적 인 전문 미술인을 양성하기 위해 시행 되었다. 하지만 그러한 미술영재교육의 중요성 에도 불구하고 우리나라에는 2003년부터 1-2개의 초.중등 미술영재학급이 예술고등 학교를 중심으로 시범적으로 운영되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 본인이 재직 하고 있는 예술고등학교의 초.중등 미술 영재학급 운영사례와 영재수업에 참가한 학 생의 특성 및 결과물 분석을 통해서 미술 영재교육의 가능성과 한계를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 예술고등학교에서 운영하는 초.중등 미술 영재학급 운영 실태 및 교육현황을 외국의 사례와 비교하며 분석하고 미술 영재 선발방법 및 교수학 습 프로그램과 수업의 결과물 분석, 영재수업을 받은 학생들의 수료 후 관리 등을 통 해 영재 미술학급 운영의 문제점과 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

The education for the gifted children in arts draws out the potential energy of the gifted children who has special talent in the field of arts. And, it is considered as it needs to do personal self realization and, in addition, foster the high-class manpower for the national development. But, for all the important of this education for the gifted children, recently 1~2 classes for the gifted children in arts in Korea are operated centered on the high school of arts. Accordingly, the objective of this study is to analyze the possibility and limit of the education for the gifted children in arts through the students, who participated in the class for the gifted children and the work analysis centered on the operational cases in the class for the talent children in arts in the high school of arts where I serve now. To accomplish it this study is to investigate the operational status and present situation of education in curriculum for the talent children in arts that the high school of arts operates now, and compare with the cases in the foreign countries. And, it is to suggest the problems in operating the arts classroom for the talent children through the selecting method of the talent children in arts, the analysis of result from the teaching and learning and the lecture, and the follow up control for the students who experience the class for the talent children.
