전통미술에 있어 방(倣)을 통한 그리기와 와유(臥遊)적감상방법을 활용한 교수ㆍ학습 방안 탐색

Exploration of Teaching Mode Utilizing the Imitation and Appreciation of Korean Traditional Art

현재 미술과 수업에서 전통미술과 관련해서 행해지고 있는 표현활동과 감상활동은 대부분 외국의 학습이론을 토대로 진행하고 있다. 이런 학습활동은 전통미술이 가지고 있는 미의식과 예술철학 또는 작품 감상에 있어 근원적이고 핵심적인 것들을 학생들에 게 이해시키는데 어려움을 준다. 이 연구에서는 전통미술이 가지고 있는 독특한 특성 과 미의식을 인지시키고 이해시키는 방안으로 조선시대 여항작가들이나 화원에 소속 된 작가들이 사용했던 방작(倣作)과 와유(臥遊)적 풍경감상 등을 초.중등학생들의 표현활동 및 감상활동과 연계하여 적용해보고 학생의 참여도와 학습효과가 어떻게 나 타나는가를 분석하고 진단한다. 이런 방법들은 학생들의 흥미와 관심을 자극하고 자발 적인 학습참여를 이끌어 냄으로서 미적체험을 강화하고 미술에 대한 이해를 높인다.

As matter of fact, many teachers in elementary and secondary schools have difficulties to deal with Korean traditional art activities and art appreciation lessons. So they normally use the teaching method of what they know which is a more likely western style of teaching mode. This teaching mode does not fit and proper to teach korean tradition art and do not provide right information to the students what they need to know and understand fundamental and essential meaning of korean traditional aesthetics and characteristics. It is very important to develop Korean teaching and learning plans based on principles, values, meanings and symbols of Korean traditional art. In this study, we introduce and discuss two teaching methods in traditional way. First of all, we examine the imitating method of art work how it affect to the students to understandings about the form, composition, symbols and meanings what korean traditional art has. Second, we deal with a kind of art appreciation method using the landscape paintings how it help to the students to understand the art works affectively. The findings and implication of methods are provided along with students works.
