A Study on the Implementation Stage of Electronic Commerce in Real Estate - Cases on Real Estate Web Services of Public Sector -

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of research is to develop a conceptual model of electronic commerce(EC) in real estate and to propose some guidelines in implementing it by stages. In order to conduct the research, internet real estate services in Korea was surveyed and in-depth case studies were performed. (2) RESEARCH METHOD In this study, a conceptual model for real estate electronic commerce was developed through related literatures reviews. Implementation stages and practical guidelines were suggested through case study findings. (3) RESEARCH RESULTS Infrastructures for implementing electronic commerce in real estate are relatively well prepared. Specific web services, especially in public sectors, are already disseminated in internet community for real estate transactions. But, information quality, user interfaces, network effects are not satisfied. 2. RESULTS 6 different subsystems of total electronic commerce systems are proposed based on its implementation rankings with practical limitations.
