본 연구는 경제학의 성인지적인 전개과정과 경제발전론의 재구성을 분석한다. 분석의 순서는 다음과 같다. 먼저 성인지적 경제학의 전개과정을 살펴보고, 성인적 경제학의 문제의식과 이에 따른 대안적 방법론을 분석한다. 다음으로 성인지적 경제발전론의 필요성을 조명한다. 아울러 여성발전전략의 변화과정을 살펴보면서, 그에 따른 경제발전론의 가능성을 타진한다. 마지막으로 성인지적인 경제발전론 연구의 구체적인 사례를 통해, 양성평등을 위한 이론과 정책에서의 가능성을 모색한다.
