프로젝트 팀의 학습이 팀 성과에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Team Learning on Team Performance : The Case of Korean Project Teams

본 연구는 프로젝트 팀의 학습이 팀 성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴본다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 경영, 경제 관련 연구 및 컨설팅을 수행하는 62개의 프로젝트 팀을 대상으로 실증분석을 한다. 팀 학습은 탐험적 학습과 개발적 학습으로 각각 구분하고, 팀 성과는 혁신성과와 과업성과로 구분한다. 연구 결과, 프로젝트 팀의 탐험적 학습은 팀의 혁신성과와 과업성과 각각에 대하여 정(+)의 방향으로 관련되는 것으로 나타난 반면, 개발적 학습은 팀 성과에 대하여 유의미한 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 프로젝트 팀의 탐험적 학습과 개발적 학습의 상호작용은 팀의 혁신성과와 과업성과 각각에 대하여 정(+)의 방향으로 관련되는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 끝으로 본 연구결과의 이론적ㆍ실무적 시사점을 제시한다.

This study investigated the effects of team learning on team performance in 62 Korean project teams. Project team learning and team performance is respectively classified into two categories: exploration and exploitation; innovative and task performance. Analysis of field survey data from 62 project teams showed that exploration was positively associated with both innovative and task team performance. Results also showed that the interaction between exploration and exploitation was positively associated with both innovative and task team performance. Finally, research and practical implications are suggested.
