기업능력과 성과의 평가모형

이 연구는 전략적 통합과 진화론적 관점에서 기업능력과 조직성과의 평가모형을 설계하고, 철강기업을 대상으로 실증적 분석을 시도하였다. 연구결과, 전략실행능력, 특히 제조능력과 프로세스 통합조정 능력이 전략수립능력에 비하여 조직성과에 보다 유의한 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 전략수립능력과 실행능력이 모두 높을 경우에 조직성과도 더욱 높아지는 기업능력의 상호보완적 효과도 검증되었다. 또한 기업실무에서 경쟁사와의 기업능력을 비교 평가할 수 있는 대안을 제시하였다.

This paper proposes and tests a model of firm capability and performance based on strategic integration and evolutionary approach in the steel industry. The model finds that the effects on performance of the strategy-execution capabilities, consisted of manufacturing capability and process integration & coordination capability, are superior to the strategy-formulation capabilities. And there is a support for complementary effect such as the performance is higher when the execution and formulation capabilities is higher simultaneously. This study also propose an alternative method to evaluate the relative firm capability in comparison with the competitive firms.
