생태경제학의 방법론과 비전

Ecological Economics. Methodology and Vision

이 글은 생태경제학이론의 기본토대이라고 힐 수 있는 방법론과 비전을 복잡계의 공진화라는 관점에서 정리한 것이다. 방법론과 관련하여 이 글은 생태경제학이 강조하는 초학제적 접근과 방법론적 다원주의를 복잡계 이론의 판정에서 해석한다. 이에 기초하여 생태경제학이 불확실성과 위험의 유형 분류에 입각하여 제안하고 있는 포스트-노말 사이언스의 내용과 성격을 분석한다. 환경문제인식의 이론적 세계관(비전)과 관련하여 이 글은 생태경제학의 비전을 생태계와 사회경제시스템간의 공진화, 즉 사회제도와 열역학적 연관 간의 상호작용을 매개로 진행되는 공진화적 관계로 정리하고 그것이 갖는 이론적 의의를 검토 한다. 방법론과 비전에 대한 정리 및 분석을 통해 생태경제학이 환경문제의 인식과 해결에서 지니는 정책적 시사점을 검토한다.

This paper reviews the methodology and the vision(theoretical world-view) of Ecological Economics from the co-evolutionary perspective of complex system The characteristics of methodology(transdisciplinary approach and methodological pluralism) are investigated, and thereby the characteristics and the theoretical meanings of post-normal science are revealed The vision of Ecological Economics is conceived as the co-evolution of two complex systems(ecosystem and socio-economic system) which is based on the interaction between thermodynamic throughput and social institutions. From the point of the methodology and the vision of Ecological Economics, the policy implications are drawn
