The purpose of this study is to explore empirically the feature of the Magazine Industry in South Korea. Today. Korean Magazine Industry faces deep slump while its importances of media aspects increase gradually. Many Magazines suspend publication and their economical conditions is getting worse. This paper ;s written for looking about current situation and problems of Korean magazine Industry. and searching for the solution. The main method for the study is survey research. The result of the research is as follows. First, the magazine companies in Korea are generally small scale. Second. the business environment of magazine industry is getting increasingly worse. Third. the circulation and distribution structure cause many problems. forth. the advertising market for magazine has been shrunk day by day. fifth. there are lack of professional workers for magazine industry. Sixth. the excessive competition among magazine companies interrupts the development of the Korean Magazine Industry.
