학습공동체의 다차원적 성격과 구현 원리에 관한 연구

A study on the multi-dimensional structure of learning community and its realizing principle.

본 연구는 현실적으로 그 의미가 다차원적으로 확장되고 있는 학습공동체 개념을 일관성을 가진 다차원적인 구조로 정리하고 각 차원의 학습공동체에 가해지는 제약요인들을 분석하며, 이를 극복하고 우리 삶의 전 영역에 학습공동체를 구현하기 위한 원리를 학습공동체의 공통된 기본 원리에 비추어 제시하였다. 학습공동체의 다차원성에 대한 인식은 학문적인 면에서 학습공동체에 대한 보다 포괄적인 안목을 제공함과 동시에, 실천적인 면에서 각 차원별 학습공동체 구현의 가능성과 제약을 인식하게 함으로써 우리 사회의 전 영역을 학습공동체로 변화시키는 데 필요한 보다 근본적이고 구체적인 대응 전략을 마련하게 하는데 기여한다. 현대사회에서 학습공동체는 학습동아리, 학습조직, 평생학습도시의 형태로 다차원적으로 발전하고 있으며, 각 차원의 학습공동체는 근본적으로 집단적인 학습을 통한 구성원의 성장과 공동체적 유대를 강화하기 위한 목적을 추구하고 있음과 동시에 학습공동체를 사적인 이익을 추구하기 위한 수단으로 전용하려는 권력에 의해 왜곡된다. 현대사회의 각 영역에서 학습공동체가 보다 올바르게 구현되도록 하기 위해서는 학습공동체의 본질에 대한 인식과 아울러 각 차원별 제약요인에 대한 지속적인 경계와 극복을 위한 노력이 요구된다.

This study tries to classify the concept of learning community in multi-dimensional structure with a core principle, to analyse the constrains in each dimensions, and to present the common principles for realizing the value of learning community. Learning community is considered as a ideal form of learning group which people pursue in contemporary learning society. But in reality, the concept of learning community has being extended to multi-dimension, so it is difficult to understand the essential meaning of it. In addition, someone have doubts about the possibility of realizing the principle of learning community in more extended new dimension. In current times, the concept of learning community is developing multi-dimensionally in the form of Iearning circle, Iearning organization and life long learning city or local learning community, and in reality each learning community has its own particular possibilities and constrains simultaneously. Learning communities of all dimensions seek after the growth of community members and the fostering of community sense by collective learning activity, but are distorted by the power agents who have no interest in the genuine values of learning communities but use them only as instruments to get their own special and private values. In order to realize the value of learning communities of all dimensions, we must make efforts to be alert to and overcome the constrains of them at all dimensions.
