The future way of the international trade department's curriculum and its studies

Historically, the college of international trade department in Korea dates back to 1952 when Pusan University and Junnam University established the department for the first time in Korea. This beginning lead to further establishments of the international trade department by most domestic colleges with the help of the government's foreign trade policies in 1960s. However, the gap between high school graduates and limited competition for admission to the college has brought about the higher educational institutions' crisis situation, so most domestic college department are currently groping for survival strategies. Accordingly, the college of international trade department has already been carrying out research on the reform plans, which focused on the curriculum for the past ten years. However, it is fail to present the specific plans so far and we don't know yet what the outcome will be. Therefore, this paper propose to promote the best way to solve the problem with analysis research which released up to now by faculties of the college of international trade department for the revitalization of the department, and consortium plans based on respective localities as a conclusion for the future course of the international trade department.
